We’ll iron out the details and I’ll tell you everything you need to prepare for our time together. When you’re ready, I’ll send you a booking link— a deposit and contract signed will officially put the date on my calendar! I’ll be totally accessible to you between booking & the day of the shoot / wedding.
I love to mingle a lil bit before the session begins, and set a time so that we don’t feel rushed. I’ll walk you through a few posing pointers before we begin.
I’ll send over some previews the week following the shoot / wedding, and the full gallery will be ready in 4-6 weeks (for a session) or 6-8 weeks (for a wedding) in an easy-to-use online gallery, perfect for sharing with other people or ordering prints or albums.
My approach
to posing
I love using a documentary approach when it comes to posing— which basically means that I will step back and allow myself to be a fly on the wall and document what’s happening without too much interference. BUT— don’t worry, this comes with time. I will give plenty of posing direction and will not leave you hanging, wondering what to do with your hands lol! I will guide you along the way, making the whole experience feel as natural as possible. I love to play with both unique posing ideas and more natural movements, it all depends on the story and the couple. One of the top things clients tell me is how comfortable I made them feel, and that’s my number one priority. How hands-on or distant I am in my posing process totally depends on the situation and couple— but I will never ever ever leave you feeling confused or awkward! I got you. :)
PROMISE ME THIS
My promise to you is that I’ll guide you with years of experience under my belt in creating beautiful photos that feels so comfortable and fun to create together! My ask from you (to get the best photos possible) is to trust me, and to be vulnerable. I know how uncomfortable being in front of the camera can be! Throughout our time together, I ask you to be fully present & in the moment with your person. The emotion & intimacy & playfulness will be felt through the photos if it’s there in real life— but you’ve gotta let your guard down. <3
99% of my couples tell me they’re awkward in front of the camera before our shoot! It’s on me to guide you and create a comfy environment— I just ask that you loosen up so that your personality shines through, whether that’s playful and energetic or soft and intimate.

Film is SUCH a beautiful medium that I love to offer my couples as a fun add-on to their photo gallery! However, if you're looking for a film-heavy photographer, that is not me. I focus on digital photos and offer those nostalgic film photos as the sprinkle on top! I shoot both 35mm film and polaroids & there's a few options you can choose if you're interested in this— inquire to learn more!

STORYTELLING SESSIONS
This is a newer thing for me, and something I’ve been so passionate about! Basically, a storytelling session is for the people who have a strong vision for what they want their session to feel like. You might have something specific in mind, or you might come to me wanting to collaborate on an idea. Regardless, it’s more thought out in advance— we would create a mood board, style outfits together, and really put though into the story we’re trying to tell through our session! Kinda like we’re directing a mini movie… we can even create a playlist for music during the shoot! It’s an entire experience, and I love doing this so so much. It’s very much a collaboration.
If you don’t care too much about this kinda thing and you just want pretty photos, that’s totally fine!! My approach to posing and everything stays the same. But if you crave more of this immersive though-out experience, simply let me know in your initial email or asap! I’d love to create with you. :)
TRAVEL & DESTINATION WEDDINGS
If you want to keep it simple and elope with just you two, I can help you find the perfect spot! Wild landscapes are my favorite thing in the world, and I’d be so excited to help you plan the perfect day somewhere beautiful!
If you want to elope or have a destination wedding with a little bit more detail and styling (like a beautiful family-style dinner table, with a bouquet, and some kind of ceremony set-up, for example)— I have a destination planner/stylist that I partner with who’s also local to me, and together we can create the most perfect day for you two!! Just ask about our joint packages. :)
