The retainer is non-refundable and a new retainer may need to be made to secure a new date. If we're rescheduling a wedding in a different calendar year, it will be subject to new pricing, as I raise my prices each year to match my experience & cost of living. If travel expenses are involved, and we're close enough to the date where travel has already been booked, then new travel expenses might be applied for the new date.

WHAT IF WE NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE?
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
The price includes all the good photos— edited in an easy online gallery with a print shop available for anything you may want to purchase separately through the site. There's tons of options like prints, heirloom albums, cards, etc! I do not limit the amount of photos I give you or make you pay for additional images! I usually deliver around 60-140 photos per hour of shooting, all depending on how much is happening during that time. Which means an 8 hour wedding could have a gallery of 800-1000 photos, and a 1 hr session is usually around 100-150.
Also, standard travel fees are almost always included.
WHAT DO YOU OFFER ASIDE FROM PHOTOS?
I have an a la carte add-on menu that includes film photography, polaroids, a handmade leather polaroid album, rehearsal dinner coverage, additional photographers, iphone content creation / videos, day-before / vow sessions, & more!
what's your turnaround time?
For sessions, up to 4 weeks. For weddings, 6-8 weeks. I try to send out previews within a week for weddings!
The Basics
First, go ahead & inquire via my contact page with as much detail about your session/ wedding as possible! I try to respond within 48-72 hours. Once you're ready to move forward, I'll email you a booking link! A signed contract & paid deposit will make it official & you'll be on my calendar. :)

HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT?
There's a $1500 non-refundable retainer for weddings, and the rest is split up in 2-4 payments over time, with the entire balance due 2 months prior to the wedding date.
For sessions, depending how far away the session date is, we'll just split the payment up between the booking date and the session date— with the balance being due 2 weeks prior to the session. If you have questions, just let me know— I'm flexible.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CAN’T MAKE IT TO OUR WEDDING?
I've never had this happen, but it's best to plan for all scenarios. If something were to happen that rendered me unable to shoot (accident, illness, pregnancy, death, disaster, etc.), I would find another photographer to shoot in my place, and I would edit the photos in my editing style.
Sessions
BRINGING YOUR PET OR FAMILY / FRIENDS TO YOUR SHOOT:
You can absolutely bring your dog!! Bringing a family member or friend to the session is tricky because most the time, you feel uncomfy with someone watching you and it can throw off the vibe and make things awkward. But that's completely up to you and what you think would be best for your photos!

WHAT DO WE WEAR FOR PHOTOS? help!
Basically, be yourselves and wear something you can move around in. Think about the location and how the outfits will compliment it. Casual is okay! Don’t think you have to dress up— I suggest not wearing something for the first time in case you're uncomfortable in it. I can help you with outfits as much as you need!
WHAT IF WE NEED TO RESCHEDULE OUR SHOOT DUE TO WEATHER?
We can totally reschedule a session if the weather is really that bad! However, I suggest embracing the weather within reason— sometimes it forces a new level of creativity. Rain can look super cool and wind makes for incredible photos!

WHAT IF YOU'VE NEVER BEEN TO THE LOCATION BEFORE?
No worries, I do this all the time! There's so many ways around this— I'll research the location on google maps, google earth, blogs, ask around, and reach out to people in that area. Also, I always try to get there early so that I can have a full day to location scout. If you're eloping and have also never been there, we can make plans to explore together. :)
HOW DO YOU HANDLE TRAVEL FEES?
I have packages with travel built in based on the average cost for whatever region of the world you want me! This makes it so much easier for everyone— you know all the costs up front and that won't be changing based on flight prices spiking, extra rental car fees, etc! It's just one simple price, and it includes all of my basic travel. The only things that wouldn't be included are additional excursions for photos!
DO YOU HAVE A TRAVEL SCHEDULE WE CAN SEE?
YES— booking me in a place that's already on my travel schedule is a great way to save money on travel fees!
WILL YOU HELP US PLAN OUR DESTINATION ELOPEMENT?
Absolutely! Couples often come to me wanting to elope but no location in mind, and I LOVE working with you to find the perfect place! I have a system to help us narrow it down, including lots of questions & then a photo presentation with my recommendations and lots of details about each spot! I can also help you look for airbnbs / vendors. However, if you want more in-depth planning, vendor communication, and aesthetics / decor design, I work with a destination wedding planner that would love to help you further! Just ask about our package deals. <3
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOUR FLIGHT IS DELAYED?
I always plan to arrive a couple days early so that no one's stressing about any delays! I like to play it safe when it comes to this stuff!

will you photoshop us?
Nope, I am all about making you feel DANG BEAUTIFUL just as you are!!! Feel free to let me know of any insecurities you may have and I will keep that in mind when photographing you! I will, however, touch up acne or blemishes that wouldn't normally be there if you'd like.
will you pose us?
Some of my couples ask for extra posing help, or for NO posing and a 100% "candid" approach— either is fine with me. My approach to posing is as natural as possible, but without ever leaving you feeling unsure about what to do or awkward! I will always guide you! And as you get more comfortable, I'll decide when it makes sense to step back and allow moments to unfold naturally. <3 If you have any requests in this area, just let me know!
